Srinagar – Minister of State for R&B, Mr. Javid Ahmed Dar informed the House that Batpora Thandipora Foazdar Mohalla link road in district Kupwara is part of the Scheme Construction of Batpora Sonthipra Panzgam Thandipora road sanctioned under NABARD RIDF XII at a cost of Rs. 204.19 lakhs. He said that all the 8.50 kms road length envisaged in the scheme has been brought to WBM G-III Status and expenditure of Rs. 174.05 lakhs incurred ending March, 2012. He further informed that 2.00 km length covering villages of Panzgam and Rashanpora have been blacktopped during the current financial year till date and remaining 6.50 kms is proposed to be taken up during next year subject to availability of funds.
The Minister was replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Mr. Mohammad Rafiq Shah in Legislative Council today. He further informed the House that Daradpora-Wasa-Kathu-Parizgam road is sanctioned under NABARD RIDF XIV, at a cost of Rs. 223.61 lakhs against which an expenditure of Rs. 201.40 lakhs has been booked till date.
The Minister said that all the 8.50 kms road length sanctioned under the scheme has been brought to WBM G-III Status. Blacktopping on 3 kms has been completed and blacktopping on 2 more kms is in progress.
