SRINAGAR FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd, a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises & Del Monte Pacific Limited, has recently launched its range of fruit beverages in the 1-litre tetra pack format under the Del Monte brand, in the Kashmir market today.
With this launch, Del Monte is looking to build on the success of its canned fruit drinks business in the valley and believes that with the great quality on offer, its tetra pack range will be equally well received. The 1 litre tetra pack range is available in nine variants including top-selling category flavours like Mixed Fruit, Orange, Mango, Pineapple, Litchi, Cranberry & Tomato as well as flavors like Green Apple and Pink Guava, which are inspired by Del Monte top-selling fruit drink can variants
Del Monte aims to sustain a 25% growth in sales of its beverages business in the Kashmir region in FY19.
Announcing the launch of the new tetra pack range in Kashmir, Mr. Yogesh Bellani, CEO, FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd. said Weve been humbled with the response that our fruit drink cans range has received in Kashmir over the years, where both the taste and product quality of our offering has been appreciated by consumers and the Del Monte brand is seen as a premium beverage brand. While our fruit cans are more suited for single-serve consumption; with the launch of our new 1-litre tetra pack range, we want to offer consumers the same great Del Monte taste and quality from a family consumption perspective. The initial response to the tetra pack range has been very encouraging and Im sure the consumers in Kashmir will make this a success as well.
Besides a strong beverage portfolio, Del Monte has significant presence across other categories, including packaged fruits and vegetables, sauces and spreads and Italian range. Del Monte works with more than 2500 retailers, 27 direct and indirect distributors in the Kashmir region.
