JKFA To Conduct 8-day AFC C License Coaching Course

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Football Association is all set to conduct an Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘C’ License Certificate Football Coaching Course beginning from June 6, a statement from the association said on Friday.

The coaching course will be held under the aegis of All India Football Federation at Synthetic Turf TRC ground, Srinagar.

The statement said as many as twenty four eligible candidates will be called for the coaching course, seventeen of whom will be from Jammu and Kashmir and rest outside the state.

The statement said that those candidates who qualify the eight-day course will be awarded AIFF ‘C’ Coaching Certificate on June 13 and will become eligible to appear for Asian Football Confederation  (AFC) ‘B’ Licence Coaching course which will be conducted by the Federation later in the year.

Caetano Pinho, Instructor for AF C-License Course , from Goa has been deputed by AIFF as its Instructor-cum Examiner and Intikhab Alam (NIS Coach) from Jammu and Kashmir as coordinator.
