Bandipore: A would be army man died on spot after he came in contact with a fallen transmission line which was beneath the water near Hamray in Pattan town of Baramulla district.
Eyewitnesses said that a youth from Ajas Bandipora whom police identified as Aqib Manzoor Rather s/o Manzoor Ahmad Rather was on way to participate in army recruitment rally along with his friends when was electrocuted near Ajas Bandipora. He died on spot while two of his friends received injuries.
