Srinagar: She dated cancer but it never deterred her passion. An inspiring journalist, Sumegha Gulati is no more with us. She fought her last fight against the deadly cancer.
After her first relapse, Gulati said she wasnt a quitter and that she was going to die fighting.
Ill Die Fighting, Said Sumegha and yes she did it. On Friday, Sumegha Gulati, a journalist and reporter ended her long fought battle with cancer.
Her friends and colleagues from the media while paying tributes to the brave soul respected her immense courage and undying spirit.
Heres how her friends and colleagues remember her on social media.

You fought against your illness. You fought for journalism. You fought to live. As we take what we have for granted, you’ve set an example for us all. Rest in peace, my friend.

Needless to say, words cannot express what you meant to us. A fighter. A charmer. An inspiration!
Sumegha Gulati has gone down in our memories as a brave girl who fought cancer for years, without complaining. Those have been lucky whom she touched with her smile. She lived a short life, but has left an impression in every heart. Sumegha, you’ll be remembered as a fighter who challenged life at every step! Stay happy wherever you are! With a heavy heart….
PS: Sharing this blog she wrote about her journey and how she dated cancer!
When cancer struck her the first time, she emerged as winner, and when this deadly disease struck again, she still stuck to her guns, and left the battlefield.
RIP Sumegha You will be missed!!!
