Srinagar: A man said to be 130 years of age passed away in Hazratbal area after prolonged illness on Saturday.
Khwaja Ghulam Mohammad Mir, son of Lala Mir, a faith healer passed away at his house in Gassoo, Hazratbal, where he was living from several decades, his nephew Bashir Ahmad Mir said.
Khwaja is survived by three sons and two daughters.
His wife Zaina Begum died during 90s. One of his sons also passed away.
He died at the age of 130. He was taught faith healing by revered saint Meerak Shah Sahab, Mir said.
However, the claims of Mir could not be independently verified.
