SrinagarPolice on Monday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Chandergair village of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Acting on a tip off, security forces launched a search operation on the property, including a cowshed, of one Abdul Rehman Parray at Chandangeer in Bandipora and seized ammunition, including four grenades and a grenade launcher, a police official said.
He said that six militants, including the nephew of Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi, and an IAF GARUD commando were killed in a gunfight that erupted in the house of same owner
