SRINAGAR: A delegation of Prime Ministers Special Package Employees Union Sheikhpora Budgam Kashmir met President Employees Joint Action CommitteeAbdul Qayoom Wani in his office Chamber on 12th January, 2016.
The delegation apprised President EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani of the problems faced by the employees working under the PMs package scheme in Kashmir valley.
The delegation criticised the State Government for treating these employees as bonded labourers and doing nothing about their inter district transfer, clear cut transfer policy and mismanagement of their salaries.
They face a lot of difficulties due to the non availability of residential facilities.
The delegation under the President ship of Babita Saproo affiliated their union with the employees Joint Action committee and assured President EJAC Wani for extending their support in resolving the employees issues in general and PM Package employees issues in particular.
In the meeting President EJAC assured the delegation that issues discussed will be taken up with the higher-ups for their resolution.
The Government will be warned not to treat these employees as bonded labourers EJAC will protect the rights of our brethren at any cost and will fully support the PMs Special Package Employees for redressal of their genuine demands.
