KUPWARA: The people of Kupwara district have complained about poor Automated Teller Machine (ATM) service by Jammu and Kashmir Bank . Many angry customers have threatened to close their accounts, if concerned authorities failed to improve the ATM service in the district.
We are fed up with day to day technical snags and shortage of cash in ATMs of JK Bank at Main Chowk, Hospital Road and Main Chowk Kupwara, the customer Said.
The bank authorities are not bothered to rectify the technical snags as a result we are not able to withdraw the salary and other payments, said Javid Ahmad a resident.
Business and shopkeepers working in, Hospital Road complained that the ATM here is giving tough time to the customers as the only ATM near Hospital remains out of service most of the time.
Shopkeepers said as the ATM is close to the district hospital lot of patients visiting the hospital face inconvenience as they have to walk long distances to withdraw money. (KNS)
