SRINAGAR: Stating that the under the mask of ‘healing touch’, the Jammu and Kashmir government led by Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has unleashed a reign of terror to suppress the genuine voices, the United Jehad Council, the umbrella body of militant groups in the region, Tuesday said the slain duo killed in Tral forests in Indian army firing were not militants.
The UJC in a statement said: “By killing the brother of a militant, Khalid Muzaffar, the forces have once again proved that they were feeling frustrated by the determination of militants.”
In an emailed statement to Valley Media Service, UJC supermo, Syed Salahudin said by killing Muzaffar and Muhammad Younis in custody, in Tral, the forces have shown that their level of frustration is high due to the determination of militants and their leadership.
While Muzaffar was a highly qualified person, and Younis was a businessmen. The duo were not affiliated with any militant outfit, said Salahudin.
The duo were arrested by the forces and brutally tortured resulting in their deaths. The killings of two youth, has once again brought to the fore the real face of Indian democracy.
He said that the freedom struggle of Kashmir will continue till it reaches the logical conclusion.
