JAMMU, NOVEMBER 24: Mr. N.N. Vohra, Governor, flagged off relief materials from the Raj Bhavan here today. This relief material, meant for distribution to the flood victims in the Valley, includes around 2 lakh pieces of blankets, jerseys and other utility items collected by Dainik Bhaskar Group from all over India. It will be distributed in the Valley through EFICOR, the distribution partner of the Dainik Bhaskar Group.
The Governor, on the occasion, observed that such philanthropic initiatives contribute significantly towards integrating the nation and strengthening ties between the communities. He complimented the Dainik Bhaskar Group for their noble endeavour and urged that the relief materials get into the hands of those who are in need of help.
The Dainik Bhaskar Group was represented among others by Mr. Uday Bhaskar, Editor, Jammu Bhaskar and Mr. Tarun Verma, Branding Head, Dainik Bhaskar Group.
Mr. Rakesh K. Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Governor was present on the occasion.
