JAMMU – An absconder wanted in different cases was arrested after 22 years from this winter capital of the state.
“Based on specific information, police last evening arrested the wanted absconder identified as Baryam Dass, resident Chandwan, Tehsil Hiranagar, district Kathua,” an official spokesman here today said.
He said Baryam was involved in cases registered against him under FIR number 186/1990 under sections 279, 337 of RPC at Police Station Banihal of Ramban district. Arrest warrants were also issued against him under section 512 of CrPC by the Court.
