SRINAGAR: Border Security Forces (BSF) Monday clarified that its men were not part of the recent anti-infiltration operations in Shalabuth areas in Keran Sector.
In a press statement, BSF termed a news item appearing in a section of media as fabricated and said that posts like Khokhri, Kulari and Mangerta are were ever manned by BSF on the Line of Control.
Clarifying its position regarding armys recent operations BSF said that its men were deployed on the LoC in Kashmir under Armys 15 Corpus, but BSF was not engaged by army in any way in the operation.
