Srinagar – Non-Governmental Organisation, Shama Foundation today organized free medical camp for cancer patients at Tral in Pulwama disrict.
In the day long free medical camp, Dr. Sheikh Aijaz treated many patients and advised the prescription and precautions.
Talking to KNS on this occasion, renowned social worker and journalist Ghulam Nabi Shaida said that the aim and objective of Shama Foundation is to reach out to the rural areas where people are not able to meet the requirements of the treatment due to poverty or by other reasons.
This organization also provides financial assistance to those who want to pursue Islamic literature. We are also making efforts for awareness among people about different social issues and for the eradication of social evils from the society. Currently, the organization is providing complete financial assistance to 5 people who are going under treatment of cancer including three girls and 2 boys he informed.
Besides Shaeda, former president of chambers of commerce Kashmir Ghalum Mohammad Dug and Dean Academics of Islamyat Naseem Hameed Rafi Aabadi were also present on the occasion.
