Srinagar : A lady died when a big branch of a tree fell on her at the residency Road Srinagar.
A big branch of a tree fell near D-Linz restaurant at Residency road, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to three persons including a lady Anu Gupta, Sandeep Gupta residents of Talab Tiloo Jammu and Abdul Rashid Sheikh son of Abdul Gani resident of Hashiyar Banihal. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, where Anu Gupta was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old, Zubair Ahmad Rather son of Sajad Ahmad resident of Delina, Baramulla was drowned in river Jehlum while bathing. The efforts are on to retrieve the body. (GNS)
