SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has appointed Zaffar Manhas as State Secretary of the party.
In a statement a party spokesman said the appointment has been made by the president on the recommendation of Party General Secretary Mohammad Dilawar Mir.
Manhas is a noted writer and activist who joined the party after his retirement from the J&K Cultural Academcy a few months back.
