JAMMU: Minister for Finance, Abdul Rahim Rather on behalf of Chief Minister today informed the House that 7893 persons have been engaged as casual, daily wagers, need and consolidated basis in different Departments from 2009 to ending January 2013.
Replying to a question by Er Sheikh Abdul Rashid, the Minister said that these engagements were made by the competent authorities as per their requirement.
Irfan Shah, M. Y. Tarigami and G. M. Saroori raised the supplementaries.
