All-round Abid Nabi stars in Greenlands easy win

SrinagarPremier all-rounder Abid Nabi displayed his all-round prowess yet again as he helped his side Greenland Cricket Club to an easy win over Luban Cricket Club in Big Challengers T-20 Super League 2017 fixture played at Sheikhpora Budgam on Tuesday.

Batting first, Greenland Cricket Club posted a score of 165 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs with Abid Nabi scoring 25. Chasing 168, Lubaan Cricket Club were shot out for 140 in the 18th over to hand over 25-run win to Greenland Cricket Club. Abid took two wickets and was declared man of the match.

Meanwhile in the morning fixture of the day, Baba XI beat Sheikhpora XI by 48 runs. Batting first, Baba XI posted a score of 150 for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, largely due to a solid 54 from Muzamil Ahmad.

He then returned with the ball in hand to help his side to limit Sheikhpora XI to 102 all-out. He took two wickets and his all-round display earned him man of the match award.
