New DelhiJammu and Kashmir would offer its exquisite cuisines prepared by renowned chefs on August 27 at Delhi food festival under the Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat (EBSB) programme launched by the Prime Minister.
Special Secretary in the Resident Commission, J&K Government, New Delhi, Nazim Zai Khan chaired a meeting today in order to finalize the modalities for the food festival.
The novelty of the festival is that as per the EBSB, pairing State Tamil Nadu would prepare its food and offer at J&K House Chanakya Puri on August 20 and Jammu and Kashmir would prepare its food and offer at Tamil Nadu Bhawan on of August 27. This is a part of the exercise in National Integration and to achieve greater bonding amongst the people of different States.
During the meeting, it was appreciated that such food festivals on an exchange basis would highlight and project the Ek Bharat Ek Shreshta Bharat spirit in an exemplary manner.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary, RCO, Deputy Director Information, KBI, SP J&K CID Cell, Manager of both the houses, DGM, JK Agro Industries and Handloom.
