SRINAGAR – J&K Yateem Foundation in collaboration with Human Concern International, Canada has distributed emergency relief in the form of 208 GI tin sheets amounting to Rs One Lakh approximately for construction of temporary shelter sheds, among 36 affected families, who had lost their houses due to recent fire incident at village Frislan, Pahalgam.
The relief consignment was distributed among the affected families in presence of local Imam (priest) Jamal ud Din Sheikh Sahib. District Representative Anantnag (Islamabad) Farooq Ahmad Bhat; Tehsil Pahalgam Representative Er. Irshad Majeed and other volunteers namely Master Gulzar Ahmad; Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad; Painter Bashir Ahmad, etc were also present on the occasion, reads a JKYF statement.
