KU lifts VC's T20 trophy

JAMMU - Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah this afternoon gave away prizes at the conclusion of All India Vice Chancellor’s T20 Cricket Cup finale played between Universities of Kashmir and Jammu, here.

The Kashmir University lifted the trophy by beating Jammu University in a thrilling match by 6 wickets. The Kashmir University achieved the victory in 19th over surpassing the targets of 118 runs put by Jammu University.

Omar Abdullah also gave individuals prizes to the players of both the teams. He presented winner’s trophy to the captain of Kashmir University and runners up trophy to the captain of Jammu University.

The Vice Chancellor Jammu University, Prof. Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Additional Director General of Police, K. Rajindra and various other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
