SRINAGAR: A One-Day Advance Photography Workshop, organized by Canon India in association with Colour World Srinagar, was held here Wednesday.
The workshop was attended by around 20 participants including professional photographers, amateurs and students. Department of Convergent Journalism, Central University of Kashmir was represented by Production Manager of the department, Mohammad Younis Zargar, Production Assistant Sameer Wani and some students.
Well-known photographer Jassi Oberai was the mentor for the workshop. He is the brand ambassador of Nessie Filters and also a blog writer for Adobe India. Jassi has conducted 14 workshops in different cities across India this year so far.
He appreciated the passion of the photographers from Kashmir who attended the workshop despite hostile situation in the valley. I am working on concept of photo culture in India, Jassi said while sharing his experiences and interests with the participants.
