SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference on Wednesday demandedrelease of all political prisoners detained under Public Safety Act (PSA).Hurriyat in its statement strongly condemned authorities for slapping another PSA against 72-year-old, pro-freedom leader Master Ali Mohammad, Mohammad Shaban Khan, Mohamad Rafiq Ganai (ML) Ab Majid Shah and Gh Nabi Gojri. Hurriyat said that authorities after implicating these and slapping PSA shifted them to Jammu jail.

Lashing at coalition regime, Hurriyat said that PDP led administration has surpassed all limits. They are denying the court orders and almost all detainees though bailed out by court are rearrested against frivolous charges, said Hurriyat. Demanding immediate release of all political leaders and workers, Hurriyat said that denying justice will prove dangerous.

Spokesman criticized Mehbooba Mufti for her statement wherein she had asked brave hearts to join mainstream and said that it is ridiculous and all these youths are striving for a noble cause. She is responsible for continuous bloodshed in state, said spokesman and added that it is the callous & egoistic approach of state rulers that youth opted for armed struggle.

Spokesman said that people in 2016 & through peaceful struggle conveyed their political aspirations and our brave hearts too suspended their activities, however authorities remained unmoved. Instead of any positive response and heeding to the woes, reinforced more and more armed personnel, said spokesman.

Blaming Delhi for its stubborn attitude, spokesman said that instead of asking brave hearts for joining mainstream, she should have asked and advised Narinder Modi & Rajnath Singh about the ground realities of Kashmir.

They failed to change the heart of people and their every attempt failed to suppress our sentiments, said spokesman.

It is quite ridiculous, while referring to statement of Mehbooba Mufti and said that parliamentary delegation had no mandate or clear agenda and Rajnath sigh in his statement denied their representative character, saying that they were not deputed instead it was their choice to meet Hurriyat leaders. Hurriyatspokesman while blaming Delhi and its local henchmen including Mehbooba Mufti, said that they are responsible for prevailing appalling situations in state. (PTK)
