Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was shifted to central jail Srinagar on Saturday.
He was arrested by police on 8th July 2016 and since then remained in police custody at police station Kothibagh.
He was kept in solitary confinement, cut off from the rest of the world, because of which his health deteriorated considerably, a statement issued by JKLF said this evening.
Recently, he was taken to a hospital where doctors took his necessary medical tests and advised authorities to admit him in the hospital for treatment. But instead of doing that authorities shifted him back to police station Kothibagh from where he has been today shifted to central jail Srinagar, the statement said.
