Anantnag: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police arrested a drug peddler in the Railway Station of Anantnag and recovered 8.50 kilograms Fukki from his possession.
The arrested has been identified as Gurmeet Singh R/O Bhatindi Jammu. On specific information about the movement of a drug peddler in area, a special naka was raised near Railway Station under the jurisdiction of Police Station Anantnag. Naka team intercepted one youth and during frisking police recovered 8.50 kg Fukki from his possession while he was coming from Banihal to Anantnag, said police. However Anantnag police has registered a case against him under FIR no 1/2016 U/S 8/15.
