Qazi Yasir disallowed to offer Jinaza of slain militant

Anantnag: Chairman Ummat-e-Islami, Mirwaiz South Kashmir Qazi Ahmed Yasir was arrested when he was enroute to offer Jinaza of slain Mushtaq Ahmed Haroo who was killed in an encounter with security forces at Kokernag.

“In Kashmir, the Indian state dictates whether we can offer prayers or not, which day is good for offering tributes and which not,” a spokesman of the outfit said.

The party, meanwhile, has paid glowing tributes to Mushtaq Ahmed Haroo and said Kashmiris will work to achieve the mission of the ‘martyrs’ and called for a release of all pro resistance prisoners including Mirwaiz Yasir.
