SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asghar Hassan Samoon today directed the concerned departments to follow up all the complaints received through winter helpline and ensure their prompt redressal.
He was speaking during a meeting convened to review the functioning of Winter Helpline Cell established at PCR.
The Divisional Commissioner was informed that the cell has received 391 complaints out of which 211 were related to PDD, 56 to PHE, 55 against CA&PD, 27 against SMC, 25 against R&B and rest of complaints were registered against other departments and these were immediately sent to concerned departments for immediate action.
Samoon directed the concerned departments to coordinate with PCR so that cent percent grievances redressal is ensured. He also asked the State Disaster Relief Force to initiate community outreach and training programmes for better response in case of any eventuality.
The meeting was attended by officers of police, PDD, PHE and other departments.
