Pulwama Killing: Geelani calls for shutdown in South Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Paying tributes to the militant who were killed in Pulwama encounter, Chairperson All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Wednesday appealed South Kashmir people to observe complete shutdown on Thursday against the killing of a civilian in the aftermath protests.

A civilian was killed when protests erupted against the killing of militant in Nayeena area in Pulwama of South Kashmir.

“Killing of the civilian in police firing is state terrorism,” Geelani said in a statement, “it won’t be tolerated in any case.” (CNS)
