KULGAM: Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation & Flood Control, Abdul Majeed Padder said present dispensation led by Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to work towards improving socio-economic conditions of the people of the state.
The Minister stated this while addressing public gatherings at Bardi Jehhalanand, Kotmarg areas of Noorabad constituency in Kulgam district.
Paddar said that various welfare schemes are in pipeline that shall benefit the people and help development of downtrodden and the needy.
At Denev Kandimarg, the Minister announced two power transformers of 63kv capacity and hoped that these shall help improve power supply scenario in the area. He added that provision of basic amenities including electricity, roads, healthcare and education is among prime priorities of the government and no stone will be left unturned in this regard. He also distributed financial assistance under IAY to some families on the occasion.
