SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone Tuesday visited Zadibal, Hassanabad and adjoining areas to take stock of Muharram arrangements. He was accompanied by Commissioner SMC, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and various officials of CAPD, Forest, Health and other department.
The Deputy Commissioner directed CAPD officials to ensure proper availability of essentials like Rice, Sugar, Kerosene oil and cooking gas. The officials of the Forest department were directed to provide ample firewood.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed SMC and Power Development Department to form Joint survey team and repair damaged street lights, besides providing uninterrupted Power supply.
He directed ensuring availability of water tankers and sanitation around Imambaras.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited Primary Health centre Zadibal.
