Pattan: Police Friday registered a case against the owner of a filling station in North Kashmirs Pattan town in Baramulla district for allegedly duping the customers, selling fuel to them above the prescribed rates.
A police official said that they received a complaint against Aziz Filling Station wherein the complainant Raja Ajaz alleged that the petrol pump owner has been duping the customers by selling petrol at higher rates. The complainant produced a voucher to establish his claim and police accordingly registered a case vide FIR number 147/2015 u/s 3/7 of Essential Commodities Act against the filling station owner, the official said.
