Srinagar: Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Aasiya Andrabi has exhorted upon the Hurriyat leadership to live up to the expectations of the families of martyrs. The heirs of martyrs expect a lot and there is a need for the Hurriyat leadership to act in such a way so that the sacred blood of the martyrs dont go waste, she said.
Lauding the role of common people of Kulgam for showing resistance and trying their best to save the two trapped militants from the clutches of Indian forces, Aasiya Andrabi said that the role of Javid and Idrees the two martyrs were courageous who engaged the fully equipped Indian troopers in a 15 hour long battle. The pro-freedom role of people during recent encounter made it amply clear that Kashmiri people dont accept Indian occupation. I appeal people to be steadfast in their endeavors and dont get lured by Indian politicians, she said.
