Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Wednesday condemned the thrashing of three doctors in two days in North and South Kashmir hospitals.
Dr Mir Mushtaq expressed concern over the increasing incidents of violence against doctors in Kashmir hospitals. Some miscreants thrashed Dr Naseer when he asked a patient to wait for a while at Sub-District Hospital Bandipora. The miscreants ruthlessly beat him up after he was shifted to SKIMS. Dr Sajad and Dr Mushtaq were assaulted by miscreants at Block Sallar in South Kashmirs Anantnag district.DAK condemns these acts of cowardice by some ill-mannered bunch of hooligans who are creating a dent and a breach of trust in the sacred Doctor-Patient bond. Such incidences are becoming a day to day affair and Govts lackluster approach is a matter of deep agony for us, the spokesperson said appealed all the doctors across state to unite and come forward to fight for this grave issue.
