SRINAGAR: Twenty-two guests from Pakistan controlled Kashmir (PcK) arrived here today while only two Kashmiris from this side crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) at Kaman post.
As many as 41 returnees also crossed side at the Kaman post after crossing the peace bridge, official sources said. They said 22 PcK residents, including six women and as many children arrived at Kaman post to meet their relatives separated in 1947 due to partition.
They said nine residents of Kashmir, who had crossed over to other side of the LoC also returned to their homes. They included six women and a child. The number of PcK residents increases during the summer and decreases when there is below freezing temperature.
