Kathua – Tehsil Information Centre, Bani organized a symposium on the topic Role of Civil society in Disaster Management in the premises of Holy Heart Public High School of Tehsil Bani here today. Anubhuti Singh Jamwal of class 9th clinched first position in the contest while Ankush Kumar of class 7th and Aditya Kumar of class 9th bagged second and third positions respectively. The participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit.
Students drawn from various classes of High School took part in the symposium and expressed their views on the topic Role of Civil Society in Disaster Management.Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the School said only human can play a vital role in disaster management by saving the life and property. He lauded the efforts of Information Department in organizing the event of great importance in his school.
