Reiterating his support to rival PDP in the larger interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, NC Working President Omar Abdullah Tuesday wrote to State Governor offering support to PDP.
According to a NC spokesman, Omars communiqué addressed to the Governor NN Vohra was delivered by his close aide and NC provincial president Jammu, Devendra Rana this afternoon.
In the communiqué, Omar urged the Governor to consult the party leadership before taking any final decision regarding the future of the present Assembly and its viability in the formation of a government.
The NC spokesman said the communiqué was a consequence of the meeting of NC Core Group at Srinagar yesterday.
The ex-CM in his letter to Vohra has, once again blamed PDP, for the imposition of Governors rule in the State.
the political impasse in the state, due to indecisiveness of the PDP has led to the imposition of the Governors rule and placing of the State Assembly in suspended animation despite an overwhelming participation of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the electoral process, the letter to Governor, as quoted by NC spokesman, adds.
