Srinagar– At least four persons, two of them minors, were injured after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Reports said that four persons identified as Hafeeza Begum, 27, wife of Ishfaq Ahmad Parray; Asma Shabir, 3, daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat; Farhat Ahmad Ganie,13, son Mohammad Ayub Ganie and Safeena Begum, 29, wife of Lateef Ahmad Rather, all residents of Sadergund Hangah were admitted to District Hospital Handwara with dog bite injuries.
The canines have also killed two sheep of Abdul Aziz Hajam also, reports said.
A medical official at District Hospital Handwara said that four persons with dog bite injuries were received at the health facility.
“They all are stable and responding well to the treatment”, the official said. (GNS)
