Jammu- Authorities on Monday discovered the burnt body of a newborn outside the gates of the Government Medical College in Jammu Division’s Rajouri district.
The body is suspected to be of a child born within the last 48 hours and was found lying in a garbage dump by passersby who reported it to the police, officials said.
A police officer confirmed the recovery to a local news agency and said that a case has been registered under which further investigations will be taken up. (GNS)
