Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported on Saturday 82 fresh cases of novel coronavirus, while 122 more patients have recovered from the deadly infection in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, Kashmir Valley reported 67 new cases of Covid-19 while the remaining 15 were detected from Jammu division thus taking the total number of people infected by the virus to 330967.
Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported highest 37 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 7, Kupwara and Bandipora 5 each and Ganderbal 1 new case of coronavirus. No cases were reported from the four districts of Kulgam, Shopian, Anantnag and Pulwama.
In the winter capital, officials said, Jammu reported six fresh cases, Poonch 5, Doda 2, and Udhampur and Reasi 1new case of Covid-19. The five districts of Rajouri, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar and Ramban reported no new cases.
Also, the officials said, 122 more patients have recovered—50 from Jammu Division and 72 from Kashmir.
There was no death due to the virus. So far 4426—2174 in Jammu and 2252 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.
