
Srinagar– Match officials from North India participated in the Women Match Officials’ Workshop in Srinagar on Friday. The workshop is being held under the leadership of Nazir Ahmad Bhat (ZRDO AIFF and Head of Referees, JKFA) and Miss Maria Rebello (AIFF, Goa).
All India Football Federation and Reliance Foundation Youth Sports collaborated to organise this prestigious workshop, with the participants shortlisted by the AIFF. The two-day workshop will culminate on Saturday.
“This initiative is a landmark step in empowering women match officials and elevating the standards of refereeing in Indian football,” the J&K Football Association said in a statement.
“JKFA looks forward to welcoming the officials and supporting their growth in the field of refereeing,” it added.
