
JAMMU- Under the supervision of well-known coach Ishfaq Ahmad, the J&K Sports Council has been organising a football coaching camp for young footballers in Jammu.
The camp has been ongoing for over a week at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground in Jammu. Ishfaq Ahmad is leading the coaching sessions, with senior coach Satpal Singh assisting him.
The primary objective of the camp is to promote and develop football in Jammu.
Ishfaq Ahmad said over 80 players participated in the trials. “We have selected 28 players, and among them, the most talented will have the opportunity to join the U-20 Jammu and Kashmir team,” he said.
The J&K Sports Minister, along with the J&K Sports Council and Department of Youth Services & Sports, has shown keen interest in developing a football culture in Jammu.
