SRINAGAR- J&K LG Manoj Sinha will visit Baramulla today, Tuesday, January 16, to lay the foundation stone to the recently commissioned synthetic football turf at Azad Gunj in Baramulla.
District Football Association Baramilla announced the event on Monday, stating that LG Sinha will do the honors at General Bipin Rawat Stadium (Jhelum Stadium) at 11:00 AM. The DFA has asked club presidents and players to attend the ceremony.
The J&K Administration recently announced that three football fields will be constructed in three districts of Kashmir Valley, with Srinagar and Shopian being the other two.
