SRINAGAR- Twelve-year-old Ahmed Taha Masoody, a Grade 5 student from Srinagar, made waves at the Beach Games held at Daman and Diu from January 4th to 11th, 2024, in which 1200 players of eight games participated.
Taha was the youngest player of the tournament and clinched a gold medal with highest score of the event in the challenging discipline of Pencak Silat Martial Art. This remarkable achievement adds to Ahmed’s growing list of accolades, solidifying his status as a rising star in the world of martial arts.
Ahmed Taha Masoody’s journey in the world of Pencak Silat began at a tender age, driven by an innate passion for the martial arts.
Over the last four years, he has amassed a total of 25 medals in Pencak Silat. Among these, an astounding 20 are gold medals. Additionally, he has secured 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
