SRINAGAR– Kashmir Riders, J&K’s lone representative in the 3rd All India EPCH cricket tournament, Fasco Premier League 2023, were knocked out of the T15 tourney Friday after suffering a 77-run defeat to Royal Strikers Delhi at SVSPS Sports Complex in Greater Noida.
Batting first, Royal Strikers blasted the opposing bowlers, making a mammoth 175/3 in the allotted 15 overs. In reply, Kashmir Riders, led by captain Iqbal Mir, kept losing wickets at regular intervals as the team managed only 98-9 in 15 overs.
Aryan Kapoor shined for Royal Strikers Delhi, top-scoring with 76 (37), and was named player of the match. He also bowled three overs and took one wicket.
