Srinagar- The authorities have suspended the passport of President Anjuman-e-Shari Shiayan, Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi citing “security threat” as reason.
The Regional Passport Office Srinagar had informed Aga Syed Hassan that his passport has been suspended under section 10(3XC) of the Passports Act 1967.
A local news agency KNS quoted Aga Syed Hassan as saying that he received the notice after over a month when it was issued that his passport had been suspended.
He said that he had applied for a fresh passport to visit some foreign country; however, today he got to know through the notice that his passport has been suspended.
