Srinagar- A bike rider was killed in a road accident in Pantha chowk area of Srinagar on Monday.
Reports said that an accident took place in Zaffron Colony Pantha Chowk in which a truck bearing registration number JK01A 4711 hit and injured biker rider.
The bike rider was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries.
He has been identified as Mohammad Sadiq Awan son of Sanaullah Awaan resident of Salamabad Uri in Baramulla district.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation
