Srinagar- A woman slipped to death while collecting herbs in a forest area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.
30-year-old Zareena Bano had gone to a nearby forest area to collect herbs, however, due to heavy rainfall and slippery conditions, she lost her balance and died on the spot, an official said.
He said that soon after the incident local police reached the spot and recovered her body.
“After medico-legal formalities, her body will be handed over to her family members for last rites,” he said.
