Srinagar- As many as twelve more people tested positive for Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday while no fresh fatality due to the virus was reported across the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, eleven new cases of Covid-19 were reported from Kashmir Valley and a single case of virus from Jammu division.
In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar reported the highest 10 new cases of Coronavirus while Bandipora detected one. The remaining 8 districts of the Valley, including Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian registered no new cases of Covid-19.
In the winter capital, officials said, a single new case of virus was reported from Jammu while no cases were detected in the remaining nine districts of Udhampur, Rajouri, Doda, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi.
Moreover, 15 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1 from Jammu Division and 14 from Kashmir Division,” they said.
Also, the officials said that the death toll due to the pandemic remained unchanged at 4750 in J&K, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
