Srinagar- As many as 79 Coronavirus infected people recovered in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday while 47 fresh cases of virus were reported from the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to the officials, 79 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 55 from Jammu Division and 24 from the Valley. During the same time, he said, 47 fresh of Coronavirus were registered in J&K —30 from Jammu and the remaining 17 from Kashmir.
In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar reported six new cases of infection, Baramulla, Budgam and Kupwara 3 each and Bandipora 2. The five districts of Pulwama, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian detected no new cases of Covid-19.
In the winter capital, officials said, Jammu detected a maximum of 18 fresh cases of virus, Kishtwar 4, Ramban , Udhampur and Doda 2 each and one new case each in Rajouri and Kathua. No cases were registered in the three districts of Samba, Poonch and Reasi.
Also, the officials said that the death toll due to the pandemic remained unchanged at 4749 in J&K as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24hours.
The officials further said that no new cases of Mucormycosis were reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K.
