Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer sustained injuries when his gun went off accidentally in Chadura area of Budgam district, reports said Friday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rajesh Kumar of C-Coy 117 CRPF battalion was injured during the intervening night of February 11-12 when his service rifle went off accidentally at his camp in Nagam village of Chadura, reports said. The officer, the reports said received bullet injury in his right leg and was removed to nearby hospital for treatment. However, the doctors there referred him to army’s Badamibagh hospital here for specialised treatment.
